- Visit any
Aadhar Card Sewa Kendra (ASK) in your area. If you don’t know about the ASK
Center in your area, you can search “ASK Center near me” on Google or visit
this link and see all the Aadhar Card Sewa Kendras
according to your area under Select City/Location.
- Ask for a form from the Help Desk to update HOF (Head of Family). The employee sitting at the desk can ask you to show your and your husband’s documents, such as a passport, Aadhar Card, etc. Then, they will give you a form to fill out. It’s better to ask the employee to help you complete that form for a smooth procedure.
- Fill out the form and go to the Aadhar Card Sewa Kendra window to take the appointment. You will be assigned an offline appointment with a “token number” on the same day.
- Wait for your token number to come on the screens.
- You will be called to a desk to fill out a self-declaration form by the HOF in the UIDAI-prescribed format. You can ask the Aadhar Card Sewa Kendra employee to complete that form. After filling out the form, the husband should sign that form.
- After this, you will be called by your name and pay a fee to change/update HOF and address on your Aadhar Card. The prescribed fee is Rs 50.
- Again, you have to wait for your name to be called by the ASK centre employee.
- When your name is called, go to that desk, and you will be asked to show your and your husband’s documents.
- The ASK employee will change the HOF and her address to husband’s address in front of the married girl’s Aadhar Card and ask to double-check everything.
- If all the details are ready, the ASK employee will take new photograph and eye biometrics of the married girl and husband’s fingerprints.
- Here, the Aadhar Card HOF and address change to the husband’s address process is complete, and you must wait a month to see the changes on the married girl’s Aadhar Card.
